Company Breakfast is On!
Posted on May 4, 2012Pre-Employment Class 20 started the day off right today with a Company Breakfast. The traditional breakfast takes place on the Friday morning on week 11 - after seven days of HazMat training. The tunes were on, the food was great and the comaradarie was second to none.

Interested in serving as a Member At Large?
Posted on March 13, 2012The Nova Scotia Firefighters School is looking for representatives to serve as a “Member At Large” on our Board of Directors.
Typically, the Board meets four times a year, with at least two face-to-face meetings at the School. At those meetings we encourage open dialogue on firefighting practices and NSFS activities both on site and throughout the Maritimes.
NSFS’ Annual General Meeting will be held at the School on Sunday, April 29th at 1:30 p.m.

Middleton FD donates Pumper

Chief Chris Barker of the Middleton Fire Department and crew handed over the keys to a 1983 International Pumper at the Fire School this morning. The donated 840 Single Stage Pumper is a welcome addition to the school's fleet.
