Lorne Piercey
Instructor II

Lorne Piercey is currently the Deputy Chief of HRM, Station 59 (Bay Road). Lorne started his career in the Gibsons B.C. Volunteer Fire Department in 1995 and progressed through the ranks as Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain and Training Officer. After completing his Fire Fighter Level II in 1999, Lorne attained his Level 1 Fire Services Instructor’s certification in 2003 and his Level 2 in 2005. In addition to his volunteer activities Lorne spent four years as Deputy Fire Chief and one year as Fire Chief for an Industrial Fire & Rescue Department at his place of employment.
