David Kendrick
Instructor II

Dave Kendrick currently is a member of the Island and Barrington Passage Fire Dept. Dave started his career in the fire service in Shag Harbour where he was a founding member of that Fire Dept starting out as a firefighter and going through the ranks to become Fire Chief and has a total of 39 years in the fire service.

In 1989, Dave took his third basic Fire Fighter I course and at this time was convinced by one of the instructors here at the school to come down and help out. In 1990, Dave became an Assistant Instructor to “help out”, in 1992 he wrote his Instructor I and in 2001 he wrote his Instructor II.

Dave started as a full time Instructor at the School in 2006 where he instructs on the Basic Fire Fighting courses and many of the other advanced courses.
