Preston has over 30 years service with the Berwick Fire Department. Preston, a Captain, juggles an extremely busy schedule as a store owner to serve as the fire department’s treasurer, and serving on various volunteer community boards including the Board of Directors for Annapolis Valley Health, and the Firefighters School's Executive Committee.  Preston also has been an Instructor at the School for almost 15 years.
