William (Bill) Fukes
Chair, Board of Directors, Instructor II

Bill has nearly a half century as a volunteer fire service member, serving New Glasgow and Abercrombie, reaching the position of captain and training officer. Bill has served almost 40 years and is one of the original fire service instructors. He is a certified Fire Investigator and is presently the Chairman of the Board of the Nova Scotia Firefighters School. Bill teaches all basic courses plus many Advanced Officer and Instructor courses.
