Michael is one of the latest additions to the Fire School, employed with the Maintenance Department. Mike has been a Volunteer Firefighter at HRM’s Station 59 Bay Road since 1997 and currently serves as a Lieutenant with his station. In addition to his years in the Fire Service, Mike has driven a tractor trailer for several years, also being certified to drive and operate Fire Apparatus. He has plenty of experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs; has spent some time working as a framer; and Mike also owns his own Lighting and Sound Company.
